Ramokgopa wants to ‘dismantle‘ Kleinfontein

Congratulations Mr Ramokgopa! You have deserved this blog’s award for…

Kgosientso David Ramokgopa - Executive Mayor of Tshwane (PRETORIA)
Kgosientso David Ramokgopa - Executive Mayor of Tshwane (PRETORIA)

KLEINFONTEIN - This exclusive Boer-Afrikaner community, managed as a business enterprise known as “Kleinfontein Boerebelange Koöperatief Beperk” (KBK Bpk) - situated about 30km South-East from Pretoria, on the historical terrain where the battle of Diamond Hill (Donkerhoek) took place during the Second Anglo-Boer War, is once again in the gun-sights of South African government officials.

Tshwane (PRETORIA) mayor, Kgosientso Ramokgopa, is apparently planning on dismantling this whites-only enclave, which has been in existence since 1992.

Says Ramokgopa: "I was shocked to discover the size and nature of the problem (???) in Kleinfontein and I'm planning an unannounced visit so that I can have a sense of the extent of the problem… It is unfortunate that these kind of prehistoric racial practices happen in a city rising from the ashes of past segregation laws like the rest of the country… We will equally alert the Human Rights Commission to investigate the matter… Blah, blah, blah…" [Source]

Since when does a community - all of the same culture, religion and ethnicity living within the same neighbourhood, become a prehistoric racial practice? Does it perhaps become a “prehistoric racial practice” only when these people happen to have a white skin? Hmmm, Mr Ramokgopa?

If this is the case then several residential zones in Pretoria-East are also ‘guilty’ of prehistoric racial practices… Statistics SA’s latest figures show that Afrikaners dominate the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, and that there are about 124,000 of them in suburbs such as, Garsfontein, Woodhill, Mooikloof and Moreletapark. Centurion has the most residents (111,000) whose home language is Afrikaans – [Source].

All these people share the same culture and the vast majority follow the Christian faith. There are 1000’s of large Security Estates in these areas with rules and regulations far more stringent than Kleinfontein. Are you going to dismantle these communities as well, Mr Ramokgopa?

Several newspapers have been running with the story. The Pretoria News published a full-page article on 21 May 2013 titled: “Pretoria's own Orania exposed”. Oddly enough though, the article provides relatively positive feedback (considering the negativity in other reports) and speaks of friendly hospitable residents who treat visitors with coffee and baked milktart with a smile.

Several people, including Mr Jaco Mulder (Freedom Front Plus), have already reacted to Ramokgopa’s idiotic statements…  See Afrikaans report here.

When is the media going to expose the countless EXCLUSIVE BLACK South African communities and organizations scattered all over South Africa?

Tia, what can one say about this prehistoric mampara? IQ 67 minus. That's why I say, forget about a White homeland for us. Never ever will these subhumans allow it, never. They like to belittle us on a daily basis. That's what they want to do. For the Whites running Kleinfontein, keep it up and forget all the negative reports of the media and government. You deserve better than their critizism.

Statistics-SA recently also identified several residential zones in Pretoria-East which are also ‘guilty’ of prehistoric racial practices…
For instance, they show that Afrikaners dominate the eastern suburbs of Pretoria, and that there are about 124,000 of them in suburbs such as Garsfontein, Woodhill, Mooikloof and Moreletapark.
Centurion has the most residents (111,000) whose home language is Afrikaans –
And where-ever blacks move into some of these regions, they form their own ethnic-enclaves based on the tribal languages they speak.
At the Silver Lakes Gholfing Estate, some 950 upperclass black families have moved in, primarily 'Pedi-speaking' families.
Only 36 percent of this estate's residents remain Afrikaans and there is a distinctly deliberate move away from this Pedi-speaking region by Afrikaner-families - thus an exclusive Pedi-enclave is also developing at this estate.
Fourty-nine percent of the Woodhill-gholfing estate and 59% van the Mooikloof-estate remain Afrikaans-speaking (white).
At Garsfontein/Moreletapark) 750 black families moved in and 2,000 black families live in Elardus Park.
Only a scattering of 'whites' live in massive black townships such as Soshanguve, Ga-Rankuwa and Mamelodi in Pretoria.
Pretoria's 105 wards contain a total of 1 879 106 residents - with 536,602 Afrikaans-speakers in 35 wards, and 56 wards containing exclusively Sepedi-speaking (black) residents.
Pretoria has 243 189 (white) Englishspeaking families - in three wards English is the leading language spoken by the majority.
Ward 61 (Erasmia, Claudius and Laudium with 19 573 Engelsspeakers); ward 59 (Sunnyside, Muckleneuk, Lukasrand and Groenkloof) with 4 418 Engelsspeakers; and
ward 92, (Eastwood, Kilberry, Riviera, Arcadia and Lisdogan Park) met 5 575 white English-speakers.
The wards where (white) Afrikaners are primarily in the majority are in
-- Ward 91 - Garsfontein, Pretoriuspark, Woodhill, Mooikloof and Moreletapark (21 201);
- Ward 1 - Bergsig, Capitalpark, Daspoort, Pretoria Tuine, Mountain View, Parktown Oos and Rosevile (20 662).
The second-largest concentration of white Afrikaners is found in Pretoria in ward 43 (Eersterus, Dispatch, Waltloo and Silvertondale) met 19 327 residents.
The third-largest concentration of Afrikaans-speakers is in Pretoria's ward 85 (La Montagne, Die Wilgers, Equestria and Wapad-rand) met 18 891;
-- Ward 64 (The Reeds with met 18 923;
-- Ward 79 (Lyttelton Manor, Pierre van Ryneveld and Rietvalleirand with 18 676 and
- Ward 5 (Montana) met 18 158 Afrikaners.

Ward 55 (Booysens, Lady Selborne, Suiderberg and Andeon) has 17 186 Afrikaners. .
Ward 52: Bergtuin, Waverley en Koedoespoort has 17 212 en
Ward 69 (Wierdapark, Eldoraigne and Rooi-huiskraal-Noord has 17 222 Afrikaners.

In the central Pretoria area, which used to be exclusively occupied by white working-class Afrikaners before 1992, a total of 14 587 residents registered by the Census showed to be 3 987 Pedi-speakers,
3 147 English-speaking white South Africans and 2 774 Afrikaners.
The large 'traditional black townships' in greater Pretoria - contained in 54 wards - are primarily Pedi-tribal residents.
Only two 'black townships' namely Mamelodi (ward 67) and Winterveld (ward 9) are domiciled by traditional black Zulu-speakers. DETAILS PUBLISHED IN:

The D.A will do anything in their limited "power" to prove they are not a racist party, attempting to gain the black majority vote, now, even by opposing kleinfontein!

The D.A are opportunists of the worst order.

The funny thing is, none of their schemes seem to bear any fruit.

They are simply waylaying the situation for their backers, Anglo american & BHP billiton.

Kleinfontein's top brass find DA Youth 'bad-mannered'

Sourced from Times LIVE:

"Opportunistic, intolerant, bad-mannered and bossy." That was how the leadership of the Afrikaner-only community of Kleinfontein, Pretoria, described the DA Youth during its protest outside the enclave yesterday.

Settlement resident and board member Danie de Beer said the news that the DA's youth wing would march on Kleinfontein had been disconcerting and there was some fear in the community.

He said most residents were elderly and "we did not know whether there would be toyi-toying . [or] dustbins and bricks thrown about", he said.

He said the DA wanted media attention to drum up support for next year's elections. "They accused us of being racist. I found them bossy and bad-mannered."

About 100 - mostly black - DA Youth members, led by leader Mbali Ntuli, chanted the national anthem outside the entrance.

One resident was flying the old Transvaal flag, Die Vierkleur.

Five league members, including Ntuli, were invited into the community boardroom.

Kleinfontein spokesman Marisa Haasbroek said a white farmer was twice as likely to be killed in South Africa as a police officer.

She said white people were denied access to job opportunities because of the colour of their skin.

"We do not feel welcomed in SA. You came here to impose your views on us," Haasbroek said.

He is a racist,I agree,very anti white/afrikaner/jew.

Ill tell you what his m.o is:

Because he knows that cosatu & the anc are anti Jewish/ Zionism, he also calls israel an apartheid state, hence his support of the anc.

Strange how he doesnt come out in support of desmond tutu who is also anti jewish, but he prefers cosatu, anc as they are atheist, communists.Maybe he thinks he can turn them to islam.

What harm does this small community do? In what way does this negatively impact on the greater Pretoria? The real reason for this is hatred and jealousy. They cant run a spaza shop effectively, without someone stealing something. They hate it that those few whites even with everything against them can live in harmony and relative peace. Once again it shows that the not so new South Africa is a nightmare.
Why isn't there an outcry against Diepsloot as only black?

And yet people refuse to get the message, White are not wanted any more, they will take your worldly possessions and then kill all white people, just like they did in Haiti.

Forget this Judeo-Christian mantra BS of saving the savage' soul, they do not have any, they are the spawn of the Devil. I hear this everyday, they just need time, after nearly 400 years, I would say time is up, time to repeat some noteworthy Historical events en mass - 16 December.

Save yourselves and that is all that counts, You, Your Family, Extended Family and the rest of the Tribe that looks the same and speaks the same. The rest are all the enemy.

Nobody has broken the law here, and if anybody had,the S.a.N.C.P would have been sure to lay charges.

What I want to know is,how is kleinfontein infringing on anybody else & their constitutional rights?

Yes we have many in s.a who do NOT want the boers/whites/afrikaners to gain a seperate homeland/volkstaat!

I would say the conspirators could range from English business, the UK gov.,anglo american, the anc,the D.A.....the usual suspects.

After 94 till present day many within the anc have been happy to treat whites badly with layoffs in the public sector and racial discrimination with Affirmative action ,B.E.E.
Yet now when we want to be recognized as a seperate culture in our own homeland, with our futures in our own like minded hands, we are not allowed, its unlawfull, raceeest, unconstitutional blah, blah,fUkng blah!

Seems as though they, the anc, dont want us gone after all?
So in other words,we hate you,but we love you.
,maybe.... they need a punch bag?

Why is this?
I thought the TRC settled all this kak?
It amazes me that the anc did not prosecute one of the former ministers in the National Party who was responsible for the system of apartheid?

Maybe they will miss our taxes?
Could it be, deep down in side, they or the west FEAR they are nothing without our white presence within key sectors of "their" colonial economy eg. Gill Marcus,Koeberg operators,Millitary,S.A.P.

Ja,maybe its tooo much skill to loose.

Could it be the west who are the ancs pals are not allowing it? WHY?

There is a far larger issue/picture at play here than kleinfontein, this is only the beginning, trust me.

Remember VVK have also made an official demand for self determination for afrikaner whites.
Government failed to answer,a demand was sent, and finally a reply was given that the government would "look into it",they said its "complicated".
Ja,Im sure, complicated for them maybe, hey?

YET,still nothing....
At the current point in time, there is still no answer.
Sooner or later, the VVK which is recognized by the U.N are going to demand a reply.

I am willing to bet my last dollar, that an answer that favours whites, from gov., will NEVER come and pressure will mount.

Will VVK back down?
They cant, they will have to save face, with their supporters.

What will the V.V.K option and its implications mean for S.A?

Tshwane mayor to visit Kleinfontein

Tshwane's mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa will visit the Afrikaners-only community of Kleinfontein outside Rayton, east of Pretoria, on Wednesday.

"The visit is not a law enforcement exercise, but is aimed at fact-finding, reaching out to the community, and understanding their concerns," Ramokgopa's office said in a statement on Tuesday.

Members of the mayoral committee would accompany him.

Spokesman Blessing Manale said Ramokgopa would use the visit to reiterate that racial practices had no place in a democratic era.

"The executive mayor has called on the leadership of civil rights organisations and other government agencies to join in this exercise, so as to welcome the minority community of Kleinfontein back into Tshwane and assure them that they have no reason to fear."

During the visit discussions on amicable remedies for the area's apparent non-compliance with certain planning and housing regulations and other by-laws would be held.

Last week the Democratic Alliance Youth protested outside Kleinfontein's gates. The property covers almost 800 hectares. DA Youth leader Mbali Ntuli and a few others entered the area to speak with Kleinfontein leaders.

"We want to show you what South Africa looks like. We achieve nothing by creating secluded areas," she said at the time.

Kleinfontein controlling body chairman Jan Groenewald insisted in a debate with the DA on Thursday that the criteria for its residents were not based on race.

Inhabitants of the settlement, which had existed for 21 years but came under the media's spotlight this week, merely wanted to live out their values in seclusion, said Groenewald. This would include providing themselves with their own "municipal" services.

"The people that have free access to Kleinfontein, who can apply, are Afrikaner. [They] are basically people who associate themselves with our Voortrekker history, the Blood River Covenant, and all these historical facts relating to our struggle for independence for the Afrikaner people," Groenewald told reporters.

The criteria to live in Kleinfontein was "based on cultural, language, traditional, and religious beliefs".

"You cannot use race as a base to determine anything," said Groenewald.

Politics in South Africa is a joke,
Ja, Wha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha , A while back a certain " wes kaap-mampara" said on this site that, the D.A are against the implementation of "Intergrated communities" in Hout Bay.

Strange because here in "kleinfontein" the D.A came out strongly with their "Rent a mob student wing" as anti-kleinfontein and seperatism.

Statement issued by Kleinfontein, May 29 2013 - after Ramakgopa's 'inspection' on Wednesday this week:

The Mayor of Tshwane Mr Ramakgopa has today undertaken to assist Kleinfontein in fast tracking its application for formalization as a town in the greater Tshwane Metropole.

Kleinfontein accepted the Mayor's offer that the constitutional issues be dealt with jointly. It was considered by all delegates to be a bold, reconciliatory and responsible move to the cultural and indeed constitutional challenges facing cultural communities such as Kleinfontein.

We the Afrikaner community of Kleinfontein hereby express our deep appreciation at the Mayor of Tshwane and his delegation. The meeting was held in mutual respect and both minority rights and human rights featured on the agenda.

The Mayor in his opening address referred to the warm welcome he received and diffused all tensions that characterized the prelude to the visit.

The Mayor followed by several reporters conducted a short motorized tour of the village. He was accompanied by Mr Niel de Beer the civil engineer spearheading the Kleinfontein DFA application tasked on formalizing the settlement. The chairman of the board of Directors Mr Jan Groenewald also accompanied the delegates.

Mr Ramakgopa expressed appreciation for the self-reliance the community exhibited and was particularly impressed with a paved road constructed by elderly residents.

Following the tour a brief Q & A session was held with the media and opportunity was given to address key issues.

Thereafter on request of the mayor an interactive session was held excluding the media. Two primary concepts were discussed being firstly the formalization of the settlement and secondly the more complex issue of self-determination and the impact on the cultural identity of Kleinfontein.

The Mayor reiterated that Kleinfontein will be treated on par with any informal settlement under its jurisdiction.

Two Biblical Verses (words of wisdom) come to mind when I look at this Kleinfontein issue and the manner in which the management of Kleinfontein handled the situation:

Old Testament (KJV)
"The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them." - (Exodus 15:9)

New Testament (KJV)
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you" - (Matthew 5:44)

Kleinfontein gains legal status as a cultural community
Although the Gauteng legislature has recognised Kleinfontein, a white Afrikaner-only settlement outside Pretoria, as a cultural community, the City of Tshwane won’t declare it a separate development.

The legislature’s decision comes after an investigation by its portfolio committee on community safety into an incident in which police officers were barred from entering the enclave, 30km south-east of the city in November last year, presumably because they did not fit the community’s entry requirements.

The findings of the investigation were reported in the legislature on Thursday, a meeting attended by one of Kleinfontein’s founders and the chairman of the Kleinfontein board, Jan Groenewald. He said the community co-operated fully with the legislature and said rumours that police were denied access to Kleinfontein were unsubstantiated.

The community is also in the process of applying to have Kleinfontein declared an independent legal entity within the City of Tshwane... Read more
